Ok, so it is now time to finally start my Attachment Theory dissertation, and I need some

single women!!! 😉

I thought I might post my request on here because, just maybe, I have a couple of single women followers out there who wouldn’t mind being part of my study.

As most of you already know, my desire to study the attachment theory was motivated by my own attachment issues. I have learnt so much over the last 4 years, and I only wish I had known more about this when I was younger. For this reason, I decided to do my dissertation on

‘The role of attachment in involuntarily single women over the age of 45.’

(These would be women who, despite having a deep desire to be in  a committed relationship/ marriage, have struggled to do so.)

I am looking for 4 participants for this study who would be happy to donate 2/3 hours of their time completing an Adult Attachment Interview and a separate relationship interview.

(The interviews would be split up over two sessions and take place via Zoom)

My criteria for the participants for this study are quite specific –

You are 45 or older

You have never been married

(Or had kids)

You have been single for over two years

You don’t have any easily identifiable trauma in your childhood.

(Ie  Physical abuse, sexual abuse or parental figures with a history of substance abuse)
