This is just a short note to say that I have decided to take a break from writing my posts. I had high dreams of reaching the ripe old age of 95 and very proudly being able to say

“Well, I posted a post EVERY WEEK for the last 50+ years of my life-

Isn’t that marvellous!”

The reality is far less romantic.

Truth be told, I just feel emotionally exhausted, and the last thing I have the capacity for right now is being emotionally honest about anything. It feels like my writing has become something I have to do, rather than something I want to do….

so I have decided to look after myself and give myself a little time and space to breathe.

But don’t worry, I will be back, I promise 🙂
